Many of our trains convey an on-train buffet, staffed mostly by our friendly volunteers.

Enjoy freshly ground coffee, tea, hot chocolate and a selection of locally sourced canned beverages, including Luscombe soft drinks. We also offer a range of crisps, sweets, chocolate and cakes to enjoy during your journey

For something a little stronger, we serve a selection of local ales, lagers and ciders, including Dartmoor IPA on tap, as well as Prosecco and wines including Dart Valley Reserve.

The former Refreshment Rooms at Buckfastleigh station is now operated by Birdies Kitchen. Opening times and menus can be found on their website

The Bridge View Kiosk, located in the Buckfastleigh car park, is part of The Dartside Co., the South Devon Railway’s own food and drink brand. The Dartside Co. has been created to showcase quality local products while remaining proudly part of the South Devon Railway. Every purchase helps support the railway, with all profits reinvested back into the SDR.

Serving a selection of speciality coffee, Devon luxury hot chocolate and locally produced soft drinks such as Luscombe beverages. Our food selection consists of Chunk of Devon pastie and sausage rolls, crisps, Marshfield Ice Cream and a range of cake from a local bakehouse.

We’re open at weekends and throughout the school holidays, making it easy to pick up a drink, snack or treat before or after your visit.
