SUPER VALUE BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND
It’s great value all the way this early May bank holiday, 29th April to 1st May, with entry to Dartmoor Otters & Buckfast Butterflies and the Totnes Rare Breeds Farm included in the price of a train ticket.
Throughout the bank holiday weekend, every train ticket gives visitors entry to both of our neighbouring attractions at no extra cost, as well as a free ride on our miniature railway which runs around the gardens at Buckfastleigh station (weather permitting).
There is a face painter and a children’s entertainer on hand, and our collection of vintage locomotives and carriages will be on display.
In the museum, the former Exeter Gas Works locomotive No 1, ‘Ashley’, will be on display next to 1868-built ‘Tiny’, the only surviving genuine locomotive built to Brunel’s broad gauge.
