Easter Gala 2026

Get ready for our Easter Gala.

All aboard for an Easter adventure at South Devon Railway’s Easter Gala. Join us on 4th and 5th April 2026 and experience the nostalgic charm of heritage railway travel in the beautiful Devon countryside. An intensive timetable will be operating on the railway, with a variety of steam and diesel locomotives pulling our trains. There will also be classic cars on display at Buckfastleigh, visits to the original signal box where you can have a go at pulling signal levers, viewing of our workshops, and much more!

For the best value, buy one of our ranger tickets that allows travel all day on all our services.

Locomotives in use will be steam locomotives 1369 and 5526, and diesel 33002.
