Come and meet Paddington™

Linking heritage railways with the historic story of a very famous bear, we are welcoming a special visitor to South Devon Railway on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th July.

Why not combine a nostalgic steam train ride along the stunning Dart Valley with the chance to meet Paddington™ before you embark on your journey. Paddington™ will be making appearances in Buckfastleigh station at regular intervals throughout the weekend of 11th and 12th July*. Don’t forget to bring your camera as you may have the opportunity to take a photo and create magical memories up close with this family favourite bear. It’s just the ticket for a fantastic day out!

There is no charge to see Paddington™, but please note that you do need to book a ticket to travel on the railway** and access the platform. We cannot guarantee that all who come along will get to meet Paddington™ personally.

* Paddington™ will be waving off and welcoming back trains between 10am and 4pm on both days.

**ticket includes a 14-mile round rail trip, a ride on a London bus, plus for children, an activity pack and a drink/biscuit.
