May Family Fun Weekend

Between 2nd and 4th May 2026, experience a fun-filled weekend of heritage steam trains, wildlife encounters, and family adventures alongside the scenic River Dart. Step aboard frequent steam heritage train services and enjoy a nostalgic journey through the beautiful countryside.

As part of the Family Fun Weekend, visitors can enjoy free entry to Dartmoor Otters & Buckfast Butterflies, where tropical butterflies flutter around lush greenery and playful otters can be seen in their specially designed enclosures. Free entry is also included to Totnes Rare Breeds Farm.

With steam trains, fascinating wildlife, and plenty of family-friendly activities, this special weekend offers something for everyone to enjoy.
