PWM3767, Type 27A Mk III Wickham Trolley, works No 6646 Adrian
This Wickham is one of 15 vehicles built by D. Wickham & Co and delivered to BR Western Region in May 1953 as no B6W PWM3767. It has a Ford 10hp engine. It was allocated to Exeter St David's and operated in the surrounding area. It was transferred to BR Southern Region and given the operating number DS3321 before returning to the Western Region and given the new number PWM5648. Sent for scrap at W. Prosser in Worcester, it was saved by a member of the Worcester Locomotive Society in 1972 and deivered to the army base in Moreton-on-Lugg and, within a week was running. In the mid 1980s, it was badly damaged in a shunting accident but was repaired. It returned home to Devon in 1993 via a spell at the erstwhile Bulmers Railway Centre in Hereford from 1987 and is once again in working order. It is named Adrian in memory of Worcester Locomotive Society stalwart, Adrian Pask. It is owned by the Worcester Locomotive Society.
