Type 17 Wickham trailer, works no 11718

Wickham no 11718 was purchased from D. Wickham & Co's factory in Ware in 1989 along with the 'Bernard Wickham'.

This trailer was built for stock by Wickham and as a demonstrator and was originally 3'6" gauge, no doubt with an eye for export.

After arrival in the West Country, it was re-gauged to standard gauge.
