6th - 7th July: MILITARY WEEKEND A nostalgic return to Britain in the 1940s and thereafter. Military vehicles and displays and a busy railway theme. Staged with the Devon Area Military Vehicle Trust. Click here to see the timetable. 

23rd - 26th August: BANK HOLIDAY 'RAILS & ALES' A great family day out with steam and diesel trains all day and into the evening with an ale and cider festival at Staverton station.

14th - 15th September: HERITAGE TRANSPORT GALA AND ‘BEHIND THE SCENES’ Steam and diesel trains, goods trains, classic vehicles and a fascinating look behind the scenes at how we operate the railway.

31st October: HALLOWEEN EXPRESS Trick or treat?! A special train leaving Buckfastleigh at 6.30pm. Booking essential. Email us or phone 01364 644370.

2nd - 3rd November: HALF PRICE WEEKEND To bring down the curtain on the 2013 season, travel all day at half price!

1st, 7th, 8th, 14th, 15th, 18th - 23rd December: SANTA BY STEAM Come and see Santa on board his special grotto train! He will be handing out a Christmas gift to every child who travels, while there are mince pies and mulled wine for the grown ups. Booking essential. Email us or phone 01364 644370.

28th December - 1st January 2014: MINCE PIE SPECIALS Come and see us after Christmas and into the New Year and enjoy a mince pie and a trip down the line. Booking not required.
