A journey back to the swinging sixties. Steam and diesel engines on passenger and goods trains. Details available here. 2nd - 5th June: Diamond Jubilee Weekend. A Diamond Jubilee celebration of a typical West Country branch line, with branch line services, including Auto trains and goods trains. Trains all day and into the evening and a real ale festival at Staverton station. God save the Queen! 17th June: Fathers' Day. Staged in co-operation with the Devon Area Military Vehicle Trust. 24th - 27th August: Bank Holiday Rails & Ales. A great family day out with trains all day and into the evening, including auto trains and the diesel railcar. Plus a beer and cider festival at Staverton station. 15th - 16th September: Heritage Transport Gala and 'Behind the Scenes. Steam and diesel trains, classic vehicles and a look at how we operate the railway. Marking the 50th anniversary of the closure of the Ashburton branch by British Railways. 31st October: Halloween Evening Diesel Gala.Trick or treat?
